Job Description:We seek a self-motivated, remote team member with Salesforce.com Development experience who loves design and problem-solving and is committed to building and delivering high-quality solutions and contributing to the company's continued growth and success!Virtual, full-time, US-based, salaried positionMinimum travel requirements (Approx twice a year)Must have availability from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST

Certifications:Salesforce Platform Developer I requiredSalesforce Platform Developer II Salesforce Architect Certifications, including Application, Data, and/or Integration preferred

Technical Skills and Experience:Proficiency in Salesforce Platform: Deep understanding of Salesforce features and functionalities.APEX, LWC and Visualforce Development: Skill in custom development on the Salesforce platform using APEX and Visualforce. (5 years experience required)Lightning Framework: Experience with Lightning Component development.Integration Experience: Ability to integrate Salesforce with other systems using APIs.Data Modeling and Management: Knowledge in designing, creating, and managing complex data models.Workflow and Process Automation: Proficiency in automating business processes using Salesforce workflow rules, Process Builder, and Flow.Front-end Technologies: Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Testing and Debugging: Experience writing test classes and performing debugging in Salesforce.Performance Tuning: Skills in optimizing Salesforce applications for maximum speed and scalability.SQL and SQQL: Creating and troubleshooting queries.

Soft Skills:Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex software issues.Communication Skills: Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders.Team Collaboration: Ability to work well in a remote team environment.Adaptability: Flexibility in adapting to new technologies and changes in project requirements.Project Management: Basic understanding of project management principles.

Responsibilities:Case Management: Manage assigned cases through our custom Salesforce CRM.Communication: Liaison between 3rd party developers, customers and stakeholders.Requirement Analysis: Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Salesforce platform.Solution Design: Create detailed technical designs, including data models, custom objects, flows, and validation rules to address business needs while adhering to best practices.Customization: Customize Salesforce by creating custom fields, objects, page layouts, and record types to optimize the user experience and streamline business processes.Apex Development: Write APEX code to develop custom business logic, triggers, controllers, and batch processes.Visualforce Pages: Support Visualforce pages to create custom user interfaces and extend the functionality of standard Salesforce pages.Lightning Components: Create Lightning components to build modern and responsive user interfaces using Salesforce's Lightning Framework.Integration: Integrate Salesforce with external systems, applications, and data sources using APIs, middleware, and third-party tools. (Postman)Data Management: Ensure data quality and consistency by designing and implementing data validation rules, flows, and data migration strategies.Testing: Test and perform quality assurance to ensure that custom code and configurations work as intended.Deployment: Plan and execute deployments of Salesforce solutions between different environments (e.g., sandbox to production) while following best practices and change management processes.Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of customizations, configurations, and development work to facilitate knowledge sharing and compliance.Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with Salesforce best practices, new features, and updates, and apply them to improve existing solutions.
