Backend Developer (Contract - Potential for Full-Time) - Remote (4 Day Work Week)Type of Work: RemotePay Structure: $40–60/hourLanguagesEnglishShift and scheduleMonday to ThursdayTimezonePreferably EST or GMTWe're looking for a talented and passionate Backend Developer to join our growing team! In this short-term contract role with the possibility to transition to full-time, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure for our applications. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative features to life.

Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend systems using your expertise in JavaScript (Node.js) and other technologies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers) to understand and implement backend functionalities.Build and integrate efficient RESTful APIs for seamless communication with frontend applications.Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards.Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.Participate in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the backend development landscape.Contribute to maintaining and improving technical documentation.

Technical Skills:Required:2+ years of experience with JavaScript (Node.js)2+ years of experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.Understanding of security practices in Database Management Systems (DBMS).Preferred:Working knowledge of GolangIntermediate skill in C# and KotlinFamiliarity with Graph APIs and their integration.Experience with MySQL Workbench for database management and optimization.Experience with Azure cloud services and Docker for application deployment and DevOps principles.Nice to Have:Working knowledge of frontend technologies (Flutter, Kotlin) and Firebase
