Full Stack Java Developer

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing robust and scalable applications using Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, and modern web technologies.

Work Location - San Jose, California Or Austin, Texas (Remote)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using industry best practices and design patterns.Implement back-end services and APIs using Spring Framework, JPA (Java Persistence API), and other relevant technologies.Develop GraphQL APIs to provide efficient and flexible data querying capabilities for our applications.Design and implement RESTful APIs to support seamless integration with client-side applications.Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to store, retrieve, and manipulate data as needed.Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.Utilize Git for version control and collaborate effectively with other team members through branching, merging, and code reviews.Use Java build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle) and testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito) to automate build processes and ensure code quality.Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them in container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for scalability and manageability.Follow Agile methodologies and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to deliver high-quality software on time.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Strong proficiency in Java programming language and OOP concepts.Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data.Familiarity with GraphQL APIs and building GraphQL schemas.Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) as well as NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).Proficiency in front-end web development technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.Working knowledge of Git for version control and collaboration.Experience with Java build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle) and testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
