Position Description:Provide support and assistance to design, development, integrate, test, and deploy a modernized BMF platform and also support day-to-day Operations & Maintenance (O&M) work based on IRS priorities. Provide for project management, O&M, development, modernization, enhancements, software development, legislative changes, and developmental O&M upgrades.
Education, Degrees, and Certifications:Bachelor’s degree
Minimum Requirements:Developer / Architect with experience refactoring code.Broad range of programming experience.Experience with full-stack development and mainframe environment.Ability to learn ADDI and ARC accelerator toolsets.Broad range of programming experience with an understanding of object-oriented programming principles, Java syntax, libraries, frameworks, and best practices and have the ability to translate assembly logic to modern constructs such as mapping assembly instructions to equivalent Java code using loops, conditional statements, functions, and object-oriented design patterns.Problem-solving skills: Using ADDI's insights the candidate will assist other team members pinpoint potential issues during modernization. Strong problem-solving skills are needed to develop solutions and mitigate identified risks.Experience with other z/OS tools: The candidate with have familiarity with other z/OS analysis or development tools.To be considered for work, A CANDIDATE MUST BE EITHER A U.S. CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT ALIEN (No H1 visa holders)
