Middle Ruby on Rails Developer (remote)

A leading online bookstore and market services for educational institutions in the United States is looking for a Middle Ruby on Rails Developer.

The company's product is a full-service online solution that allows you to save significantly on textbooks and other learning materials, as well as give administrators and teachers control over the entire process. Since its inception, the service has saved more than $161 million for university and college students.

You'll be part of a close-knit team and work remotely from anywhere in the world.

Your tasks on the position:

Participation in all aspects of the application development life cycle, including specifications, prototypes, development, quality assurance, deployment and operationsDevelopment and modification of internal and external software as part of a team of engineersChecking work in practice and using automated testsSupporting the day-to-day work of the team, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise

Requirements:

3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails3+ years of application and API development experienceExperience with MySQL or other relational databasesExperience with Git or other source code control systemsEnglish B2+

Will be an advantage:

Knowledge of modern web development technologies: PHP, JavaScript, web services (REST), MySQL
