PHP Backend Developer

We are seeking a talented PHP Backend API Developer to join our dynamic team. As part of the development team, you will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our SaaS platform to support our rapidly growing client base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development, API integration, and database management, along with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend APIs • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhancements • Optimize database queries and performance for scalability and reliability • Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure code quality and stability • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in PHP development

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field • Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in PHP development • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL (PDO, Eloquent), REST API, and MVC framework (Laravel preferred) • Experience with JavaScript (ES2015), Angular, React, CSS, and HTML • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Experience with API integration and third-party platforms (e.g., AWS, Stripe) • Knowledge of Cl/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and project management tools (e.g., Jira) • Familiarity with other programming languages and web technologies • Experience with Jade/PUG or similar templating engines • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Terraform)
