Application Developer

Position can be fully remote, but selected resource must be able to travel to Boise, Idaho to participate in up to five workshops of four-day durations each and must be available to work during the client’s normal business hours (8 am - 5 pm Mountain Time). The resource must pass ILETS Fingerprinting/Background Check to be able to begin work.

Experience

6 years of relevant experience in developing applications in C# and Python.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

Knowledge of and experience developing with the C# and Python programming language.API development experience.AASHTOWare Project Active Views experience.AASHTOWare Project uses ActiveReports (GrapeCity), experience with this application is desired.Knowledge of database systems like Postgres and the integration of those databases into the development of system software -Ability to create, debug and optimize SQL queries.Knowledge of and experience developing with JavaScript, CSS, and HTMLKnowledge of and experience working with version control systems like GITAbility to develop visually appealing front-end websites including translating mock-ups into front-end codeAbility to design and implement automated testing including test driven developmentAbility to design and develop RESTful web APIsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively multitask.Ability to work as part of a team.Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.Ability to learn new technologies and maintain technical currency.

Programmers/Software Engineers must be familiar with industry accepted business practices and computer application development and support methodologies.
