Electronic Data Interchange Developer

This position requires working in the night shift from 4 pm to 12 am CST

Job Description:

This role will be responsible for providing technical support and production support, ensuring the seamless operation of our EDI systems. If you have a passion for problem-solving, deep analytical skills, and a strong technical background in EDI, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Provide production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for EDI systems.Develop and maintain EDI mappings, translations, and data transformations using XSLT.Utilize SQL programming skills to query and manipulate data within Microsoft SQL Server and DB2 Server environments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support EDI solutions.Maintain a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and EDI formats (834, 837P/I, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 278N/R, XML, and proprietary formats).Assist in backend development tasks as needed.Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.Minimum 5+ years of experience in EDI development and support.Proficiency in XSLT, SQL programming, and Java (J2EE).Strong foundational knowledge in data structures and algorithms.Experience with scripting languages and regular expressions.Familiarity with Azure DevOps (training provided).Nice to have: Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and across different domains.Bias for action and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
