The Team

From our centers, we work with Deloitte consultants to design, develop and build solutions to help clients reimagine, reshape and rewire the competitive fabric of entire industries. Our centers house a multitude of specialists, ranging from systems designers, architects and integrators to creative digital experts, to cyber risk and human capital professionals. All work together on diverse projects from advanced preconfigured solutions and methodologies to brand-building and campaign management.

SummaryUnder general supervision, the Android Engineer / Software Engineer II will contribute to design sessions, perform coding and code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, ensure quality deliverables/releases and will adhere to the established SDLC guidelines.

Work you’ll do: requirements and develops technical designsand shares lessons learned and best practicesand updates new and existing documentation with latest learningsin Scrum to groom product requirements, estimate work, and commit to deliverablesclosely with business and technical teams to understand business processes and produces effective technical solutionsin and sometimes leads peer code reviews, effort to drive overall code testability and team project planningfunctional analysis for small to moderate projectsstatus of project responsibilitiesin user/external group discussionsother duties as needed

Requirements

years’ work experience with B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field preferredleast 2 years of experience with Android Studio, ADB, XML, Json, Gradle, Firebase and Android SDKswith both Kotlin and Java, have hands-on experience on building apps with Kotlinin OOP, MVVM, Service integration (REST / SOAP), SQLite, LiveDatain designing products that served millions of users is a plusexperience in Scrum and/or other Agile development methodologygood English verbal and written communication skills. Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal and external clients
