As a Senior Developer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, building, and maintaining innovative web applications for our clients, while also providing leadership to our development team.Duties and Responsibilities:Spearheading the development of new features and providing support for existing platforms using Ruby on RailsEnsuring the delivery of high-quality, customer-facing software solutionsConverting designs and wireframes into efficient and reliable codeOptimizing application components for optimal performance across various devices and browsersCollaborating closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, review, and test applicationsLeading and coordinating a team of junior to mid-level developersEngaging in daily Scrum/standup meetings in the EST time zoneUtilizing communication tools such as Slack for team collaborationQualifications:Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer (3+ years)Strong proficiency in React.js and its core principlesFamiliarity with AWS services, especially ECS/Docker or Lambda and API GatewayExperience with RESTful APIs and familiarity with HIPAA security standardsPrevious experience with AWS Cognito for authentication is advantageousKnowledge of Azure DevOps and GitHub for version control and project managementProficiency in communication tools such as Slack for team collaborationAbility to coordinate teams effectively and work in client-facing rolesProficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and full life cycle development experienceBachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferredWorking Conditions:This is a remote position with availability required during US working hours.
