Job Description:

As a Senior Developer specializing in Shopify, you will play a key role in the development and optimization of our eCommerce platform. Leveraging your deep understanding of Shopify's capabilities and best practices, you will lead the implementation of custom features, enhancements, and integrations to elevate the performance and functionality of our online stores. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and product management, to deliver innovative solutions that drive business growth and improve the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development and customization of Shopify themes, templates, and components to meet business requirements and design specifications.2. Architect and implement custom Shopify apps and integrations to extend platform functionality and streamline business processes.3. Optimize website performance, speed, and responsiveness through code optimization, caching strategies, and performance tuning techniques.4. Collaborate with designers to translate design mockups into pixel-perfect Shopify storefronts, ensuring consistency and quality across all devices and browsers.5. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, guiding them in best practices, coding standards, and emerging technologies.6. Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and enforce coding standards to maintain code quality and scalability.7. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and Shopify updates to continually enhance our eCommerce platform and maintain a competitive edge.8. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and prioritize tasks to deliver projects on time and within budget.9. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks, ensuring a seamless and reliable shopping experience for our customers.10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and productivity across the team.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.2. Proven experience as a Senior Developer specializing in Shopify, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development.3. In-depth knowledge of Shopify's architecture, Liquid templating language, APIs, and app development framework.4. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles.5. Strong experience in customizing Shopify themes, creating custom templates, and implementing design mockups into Shopify storefronts.6. Expertise in Shopify app development, including app installation, configuration, and customization using Shopify's API and SDKs.7. Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards.8. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues, debug code, and implement effective solutions.9. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.10. Experience working in an Agile development environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
