Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Hadoop Developer. The Hadoop Developer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks like deploying and configuring Hadoop clusters, designing ETL processes, and developing and implementing Data Warehousing solutions using Hadoop.

Qualifications

Hadoop Administration and Big Data skillsExtract Transform Load (ETL) skillsData Warehousing and Hadoop skillsExperience with Hadoop ecosystem components like HDFS, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Flume, and SparkExperience in programming languages like Java, Python, and ScalaKnowledge of cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud PlatformBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCertifications in Hadoop or related technologies are a plus
