Back End Developer

Job Title: Remote Senior Back-End Java Developer (6-12 Month Contract)

Location: Remote, Netherlands (MUST BE BASED IN NETHERLANDS OR HAVE RIGHT TO WORK)

Are you a seasoned Back-End Java Developer seeking an enriching opportunity to work remotely in the Netherlands? We are currently seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team on a contract basis spanning 6-12 months. As a remote Senior Back-End Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing robust and scalable solutions for our projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Extensive experience (5+ years) in Java development with a focus on back-end technologies.Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Hibernate).Solid understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture.Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch proficiency is a plus.Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable back-end systems and APIs.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical guidance to junior developers.Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
