The Senior Full-stack Developer is a critical addition to Divelement’s mighty team. Not only will this Developer be adept in various coding languages but they will provide guidance and expertise to a cross-functional development pod. They will take our Delivery Team to new heights by contributing to coding best practices, igniting a passion for self-accountability, and maintaining Divelement’s status as one of the best places to work.

We believe in short incremental development cycles so we expect our developers to commit code daily at a minimum. We expect our contributors to work autonomously and with an ability to identify, communicate, and solve problems swiftly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement backend solutions.Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code in Python.Utilize Django and Django Rest Framework to build robust and scalable APIs.Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with React-based user interfaces.Oversee the management of containerized applications via Docker, facilitating smooth deployment and scalability across diverse environments.Design and sustain a secure, resilient AWS cloud infrastructure, utilizing an array of services to support our infrastructure needs effectively.Ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of backend systems.Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.Work closely with Project Managers and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.

RequirementsTechnicalProven experience as a Full-Stack Developer.+5 years of professional experience in Python and experience with Django and Django Rest Framework.Proficiency in JavaScript, particularly with React framework (at least 3 years of professional experience)Knowledge of containerization with Docker.Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, ELB, S3, Cloudfront, Cloudwatch, IAM, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, ACM, WAF, and RDS.Familiarity with database systems such as PostgreSQL.Solid understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, and data structures.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team environment.
