Company Overview:Coincrowd is a fast-growing, innovative startup seeking an experienced and self-motivated Senior Django Developer to join our team on a part-time, equity basis. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, efficient, and reusable Django web applications and modules, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and other developers, to gather requirements, define project scope, and estimate timelines.Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our web applications.Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including API specifications, user guides, and system architecture diagrams.Keep up to date with the latest developments in Django and related technologies to ensure our applications are built using the most cutting-edge tools and techniques.Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to established coding standards.Be an advocate for Agile methodologies, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.Tips: Provide a summary of the role, what success in the position looks like, and how this role fits into the organization overall.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of professional experience in Django web application development.Strong proficiency in Python, Django, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related web technologies.Experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.Knowledge of relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, and familiarity with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with front-end frameworks, such as flutterFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the Django community.Compensation:
This is a part-time, equity-based position. Compensation will be in the form of equity shares in the company, with the specific percentage to be negotiated based on the candidate's experience and value-add to the company.
