Job Description *
An aerospace employer is seeking an Ignition Analyst/Developer to join their team remotely. This position is open because there is an increase in demand to support Connected Factory and related projects. The company is currently migrating from Apriso to a homegrown Ignition based platform that they are calling Oasis. The goal of the Connected Factory project is to have all company machinery connected through Oasis. This is a global deployment and will be done across all company sites both domestically and internationally. This role may require occasional travel to US based sites to help prepare for deployment to Ignition. The Ignition Analyst/Developer will be involved in the planning phase as well as the actual deployment phase, and may require some development work as well as integration work. The Ignition Analyst/Developer will be responsible for integrating the Ignition solution into the onshore environment and connect the necessary databases and interfaces, including the company's largest ERP system, SAP. They will be responsible for troubleshooting interface issues that arise between Ignition and Apriso, SAP, or other related middleware technologies. They will work closely with the operations, infrastructure, and development teams to help from a data standpoint for this solution and will also help replicate documentation from previous processes for this specific Ignition solution.
