Software Developer

At DotCamp, we're excited to welcome a skilled Software Developer with expertise in frontend development and a background in WordPress (PHP, JavaScript, React) to our innovative team.

Job Details:Type: Full-time, Remote, AsynchronousSalary: $300-$400 (USD) per month, depending on experience; plus two festival bonusesWork hours: Flexible, 35-40hrs per week, no trackingUpon joining the team, you may be subject to a probationary period.

Responsibilities:In this role, you'll collaborate closely with fellow developers and designers to develop, enhance, and maintain our WordPress plugins - WP Table Builder, Ultimate Blocks, Tableberg etc. You'll work alongside content and design teams to create new features and elevate the user experience.

Requirements:No academic qualification or work experience is necessary to apply. Undergraduates are encouraged to apply.Proficiency in Typescript, React, PHP, and overall web development is required.Must be comfortable with Git - must understand basic branching, submitting PRs, resolving merge conflicts etc.Ability to work independently, without needing constant supervision or assistance.

A small portfolio of web development and other projects must be provided. This can include very small passion projects (this is encouraged). This portfolio may be a plaintext or markdown file containing a collection of links to repositories hosted at github/gitlab/bitbucket etc. At least one production ready web project must be shown as proof of web development skills. If you don't have authority to share all of the code for a project, please try to get permission to share some code.
