Mavlers is Looking for: We are hiring for a Senior WordPress Developer with proven experience developing in WordPress, PHP, CSS, HTML, and Javascript. You will work closely with a team of designers, project managers and other developers as well as digital marketing to integrate custom designs into WordPress and develop midsize to enterprise website solutions. We work with a wide variety of clients across a broad range of industries. Our primary need is someone who is capable of independently architecting a website solution within WordPress, inclusive of custom theme designs, use of page builder tools, developing custom plugins and building API integrations with 3rd party data providers. This is a full time.

WordPress Development:

Utilize your extensive experience with WordPress, PHP, CSS, HTML, and Javascript to develop robust and scalable solutions.Build custom WordPress plugins tailored to client requirements, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance.

Integrations:

Develop integrations from scratch and troubleshoot existing integrations on client websites.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration processes and resolve any issues that may arise.

Design Integration and Content Management:

Integrate custom designs into WordPress websites, utilizing page builders for easy content management post-launch.Work closely with non-technical users to ensure user-friendly interfaces and effective content management solutions.

Theme Development:

Leverage your experience with WordPress themes to create visually appealing and responsive website layouts.

Version Control:

Utilize source control tools such as GIT to manage code versions effectively and collaborate with other team members.

Bootstrap and Front-end Development:

Apply your expertise in Bootstrap and front-end development to create modern and responsive user interfaces.

Performance and ADA Compliance:

Develop websites with a strong focus on performance optimization, ensuring fast loading times and optimal user experience.Ensure ADA compliance in all development efforts, making websites accessible to users with disabilities.

Project Leadership:

Architect development approaches and solutions for WordPress-based projects.Lead projects from initiation to completion, providing guidance to junior developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This Role Requires:

Expert in designing and developing websites using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScriptExpert with building custom WordPress pluginsExpert with integrations, both developing from scratch and troubleshooting integrations that exist on current client websitesProven experience integrating custom designs, using page builders for easy content management for non-technical users post-launchProven experience with WordPress themesExperience with Photoshop & Adobe XD (Sketch and Figma a plus)Experience with source controls such as GITExperience with BootstrapAbility to architect a development approach and solution for WordPress-based project, and lead a project from start to finish while also guiding more junior developersDevelop with a strong focus in website performance and ADA complianceKnowledge of developing with SEO best practices in mindFlexible and adaptable; ability to listen effectively and respond to client’s requests and ideasDemonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively while prioritizing your projects and managing your timeOpen to learning new technologies and languagesContribute to best practices, workflows and knowledge sharingGraphic design experience is a plusExperience with Google Web Core Vitals/Page Speed Optimization is a plus
