Cold Fusion Developer | Canberra / Hybrid / Offsite / Remote | Contract | Citizens

Job Description :

The Deliverables for the Cold Fusion developer are as follows:

• Perform programming services using ColdFusion to develop software applications to meet business requirements to support projects/programs with respect to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).• Test and corrects programs.• Performs programming analysis and applies standard programming procedures.• Recognise interactions of other related programs• Manage productive stakeholder relationships and associated risks.• Undertake knowledge transfer and upskilling.• Regular reporting against performance and effort.• Tests, document work, writes and maintains operator instructions for assigned programs, and confers with team members to obtain or provide factual data

Essential Criteria:

• At least 8 years of experiences with the development and maintenance of complex web-based applications using Adobe ColdFusion, JavaScript and complex SQL queries as required.• Experience with CF v16 and 2021 as required.• Experience in analysis and design, development, enhancement, support, and maintenance of ColdFusion based applications.• Practical experience/good understanding of SQL.• Ability to provide detailed development effort estimates to business areas for system request changes and development of new components.• Ability to work as part of a team and under the direction of a team leader.• A high level of inter-personal and communication skills including a demonstrated ability to liaise with business clients in a friendly and open manner; and• Strong documentation skills.

Desirable Criteria:

• Practical experience in Oracle SQL, preferably in PL/SQL, stored procedures, packages, and functions.• Experience in ColdFusion development using ColdBox platform.• Experience in UX/UI practices and standards• Demonstrated experience with ColdFusion as a programming platform to develop multi-tier we-based applications.• Strong SWL coding background, understanding of SQL statement optimisation/tuning.• Ability to create detailed technical designs and lead teams of developers toward solutions.• Demonstrated experience with tools for source code control (GIT), change manager and creation of business and technical diagrams.• Demonstrated experience working in a rapid development environment creating prototypes and proof of concept applications.• Demonstrated experience with software engineering practices, techniques, and standards.• Experience in the ColdFusion framework
