Our mission is to make the shopping experience for Tier 2/3 cities convenient, accessible, and affordable.

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid-role for an Android Developer. We would need 2+ year of work experience in Android development. The Android Developer will have an opportunity to work on both business app and consumer app, while they are evolving. iOS development experience will be a plus.

The role is hybrid and we are open for full remote work.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain applications for the Android platform.Maintain and improve existing codebase.Build evolving features to meet the needs of our Retailers and Consumers.Integrate with third-party libraries and APIs, ensuring seamless functionality.Ensure the best possible quality, and responsiveness of the application.Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.Stay updated with the latest mobile trends, architectures, and emerging technologies.

Skills and Competencies

Strong working knowledge of Kotlin, Android SDK, different versions of Android.Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end servicesIn-depth knowledge of understanding the full mobile development life cycle.Good knowledge of architectural design patterns such as MVVM.Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.Understanding of Googles Android design principles and interface guidelines.Experience with firebase backend management and integration with app.Knowledge of Javascript and Node.js for creating APIs deployed on Firebase Cloud Function.Proficient in understanding code versioning tools, such as Git etc.Experience with third-party libraries and APIs for Payment, Login etc.Knowledge on Android Vitals and handling Crash & ANR’s.Experience in play store app publishing.
