Job Summary:We are in search of a seasoned PHP Developer with a robust understanding of PHP development, Laravel framework, and security best practices within the PHP ecosystem. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills in English, and be capable of liaising directly with clients to understand their requirements and provide solutions. You will play a critical role in developing secure and efficient PHP applications, troubleshooting issues, integrating with various APIs, and contributing significantly to our software architecture.

Key Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and enhance secure and robust PHP/Laravel applications following best industry practices.Design, develop, and maintain API integrations for enhanced functionality and external communications.Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization, functionality, and security.Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to web applications, focusing on the security aspect.Act as a direct liaison with clients to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver solutions that meet their needs.Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, ensuring the highest level of security in all processes.Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.3-5 years proven software development experience in PHP with a strong focus on security.Profound knowledge of Laravel and its variants, along with other PHP frameworks.Experience in designing and developing APIs, and integrating third-party APIs.Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.Solid understanding of web application security principles and best practices.Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.Experience with version control systems like GIT.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Desired Additional Skills:Knowledge of other PHP frameworks like Symfony, Yii, or CodeIgniter.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Experience with AWS or other cloud services.Knowledge of containerization and orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes.
