Role DescriptionThis is a part-time remote role for a Senior BigCommerce App Developer with at least 5 years of experience. As a Senior BigCommerce App Developer, your main responsibility will be to develop and maintain BigCommerce applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. This role requires strong technical skills in BigCommerce app development and a deep understanding of eCommerce best practices.

QualificationsAt least 5 years of experience in BigCommerce app developmentProficient in programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, and Ruby on RailsExperience in developing custom modules and plugins for eCommerce sitesStrong understanding of eCommerce platforms like BigCommerce, Prestashop, WP/WooCommerce, Magento, and ShopifyKnowledge of web technologies such as Symfony, Laravel, Yii, jQuery, NodeJS, and ReactJSAbility to convert PSD designs into custom store themesFamiliarity with SEO best practices for optimizing store performance and driving relevant trafficExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills
