Senior .Net Security focused Developer

Location: Manchester, UK (This role is fully remote, but must be based in the UK)Salary Range: £55,000 - £64,000Working Arrangement: Full Time - Remote (Travel to their Manchester office once a year)Sponsorship not available

Our client, a cutting-edge VR platform developer is currently looking to add a senior .Net Developer to their team, who has experience of working with Secure Data and implementing best security practices with data, ideally from MySQL and Neo4j databases.

This role will see you being a part of a team that creates connected VR and immersive enterprise visualization environments for commercial use. Using real-time geometric streaming, connecting various datasets from different environments such as CAD, MES, and PLM, to be used in secure internal environments.

The successful candidate will be joining an Agile Scrum environment to assist on the designing, building, and delivering of these bespoke software solutions.

The role will see you:Develop a deep expertise in security protocols and database architectureImplement and design scalable, secure and performant database solutions for CAD geometry data.Develop robust APIs and robust data access layers for secure interactions for both frontend and backend servicesImplement Data encryption and access controls for confidentiality.Monitor Database performance, and proactively address issues to ensure a smooth operation of the platform

Candidates will need experience with the following:.Net DevelopmentAzure Cloud platformExpertise in relational Databases, preferably MySQL or Neo4jCommercial experience in implementing database security principals

Experience with the following is highly desirable but not essential:React.JSExperience with CAD engineering data formatsDocker/ Kubernetes
