The Liferay Developer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Liferay portal and related applications. The Liferay Developer will ensure that the applications are developed according to the project requirements, and that all code is of high quality and testable. Daily tasks will include custom portlets development, theme development, integration with backend services, and other related tasks as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field4+ years of experience developing Liferay Portal and its related technologies - Java, J2EE, Spring, Struts, Hibernate, JSF, Web Services, JSP, Servlets, etc.Experience in developing Liferay themes and custom portletsProficient in Frontend Technologies - HTML 5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JQuery frameworksExperience with MySQL, Oracle, or any RDBMSExperience in Agile development methodology, DevOps, and Git repositoriesExperience in unit testing and automated testing frameworksStrong debugging skills, ability to easily troubleshoot and solve technical problemsExcellent communication and problem solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
