About The Role
We are seeking a .NET Software Developer/SharePoint Developer to join our fast-growing IT-project based consulting business, specifically supporting our work with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
We need a team member who is ready to design, build, and implement innovative solutions to support the missions of our customers. We have several large projects that are just getting started and we need some smart team members to help us deliver! The successful candidate will be an inquisitive problem solver with the ability to quickly analyze the needs for specific projects and implement effective solutions with minimal direction. All projects require our team members to identify challenges and offer creative solutions!
For this fully remote role, we're looking for team members who bring at least 5 years of practical/on the job experience with developing, deploying, and maintaining .NET applications and SharePoint solutions applications. Qualified candidates must have full stack development experience, including front end, middle tier and database programming skills and must be able to communicate and collaborate with a team of highly talented technicians as well as the client.
Responsibilities
Our .NET/SharePoint Developer will work within an Agile environment and collaborate with other developers, product owners, test engineers, and architects to:
Analyze customer needs and develop overall design concept and objectives with an eye to performance, architecture, and security.Create logical and functional software code in a variety of languages within the .NET framework.Create and maintain SharePoint sites.Understand and articulate the benefits and risks associated with different coding languages in different functional environmentsCreate applications from scratch as well as understand and program within existing systems.Participate in requirements analysisCollaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architectureWrite clean, scalable code using .NET programming languagesTest and deploy applications and systemsRevise, update, refactor and debug codeDevelop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of on the job experience with .NET Framework, including experience with ASP.NET Core Version 6Minimum of eight (8) years of on the job experience with SharePoint administration, including SharePoint 2010 and 2013Minimum of five (5) years of on the job experience with T-SQLMinimum of five (5) years of on the job experience with JavaScript, Angular, and/or ReactMinimum of two (2) years of experience with software development in the Healthcare IT fieldExperience building enterprise cloud-native solutionsExperience with microservices, WCF Services, and introducing containerizationExperience creating and maintaining SharePoint sites with complex workflowsExperience with SharePoint development, configuration, and customization including Single Sign-On (SSO) for internal and external accessAbility to troubleshoot .NET applicationsSolid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.Demonstrated experience with client InteractionMilitary experienced candidates are encouraged to applyCandidates will need to obtain Security Clearance of Public Trust once hired

Education
Bachelors Degree: Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Resource Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or related fields.
