We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our largest clients for a position of Senior Cache/Mumps Developer, to work on a remote basis.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain applications using Intersystems M/Mumps/Cache/ObjectScript/IRIS.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.Facilitate data flow between Java Client applications running on a JBOSS server and IRIS/Cache backend using Intersystems JDBC.Utilize knowledge of healthcare systems, including TC2, HL7, and CHCS, to enhance system functionality and interoperability.Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in production environments.

Requirements:

Extensive years of experience in software development, with a focus on Intersystems M/Mumps/Cache/ObjectScript/IRIS.Experience working with healthcare systems such as TC2, HL7, and CHCS.Proficiency in facilitating data flow between different systems, including Java Client applications and IRIS/Cache backends.Knowledge of Java Server Faces (JSF), Java, VM software, and Install Shield is desirable.
