Back End Developer

We’re looking for a Backend Developer to build managed services for Apache Airflow and Apache Kafka, components for working with major cloud providers and Kubernetes. Apply if you’re striving to work with managed services and know one of these languages: Go, Java, or Python.

About DoubleCloud and our projectDoubleCloud are the creators of the first-ever managed ClickHouse service, currently servicing over 500 customers.

Since 2021, we’ve worked with over a hundred companies to help crunch their analytics with industry-leading data tools such as Clickhouse, BigQuery, Redshift, MySQL, Postgres and Kafka.As a result, we’ve created a cutting-edge data platform that offers businesses a fully managed, end-to-end modern data stack with real-time analytics all built on open-source technologies such as Clickhouse, Kafka, etc.

DoubleCloud’s proprietary platform empowers data engineers to focus on what they love building awesome solutions instead of wasting time on repetitive tasks related to scaling demand up or down, installing updates, deploying additional software and all the other boring but necessary admin that comes with data technologies.

DoubleCloud is an early-stage startup with over 45 people as of today, and we want you to be a part of our team!

What you will do:Build features to simplify customer experience in the data analytics worldWork with Kubernetes on all cloud providersBuild a scalable platform for managed servicesWorking with an open-source community and the ability to deliver features upstream

What we expect from you:Striving to learn databases and distributed systemsAbility to write code, dig into complex problems, find solutions, and work as part of a teamProfessional proficiency in English2+ years of experience in software engineeringWilling to design and implement fault-tolerant services

Our technical stack is:GitHub for working with codeKubernetes and Managed Databases for deploying our productsGo language for most of parts, a bit of Java and PythonBazel for building things
