We have an opening for a Remote Backend Developer for a contract position looking for a support from your end, below are the details and Job description for your reference -

Working hours - PSTFull time contract - 40hrs per week Duration - 6monthsMust have strong shopify experience

Document and evaluate any downstream impacts to business processes resulting from new features released on Shopify POSCollaborate with product owners on the client team to collect requirements for customizations, if necessary.Collaborate with data engineers on the client team to assess impacts to data flows of downstream systems, if necessary.Collaborate with architects to assess impacts to payload and performance of new features, if necessary.Maintain calendar and release schedule for new features

Ideal qualifications

5+ years as a Backend Application Developer on web applications.Working knowledge of Shopify POSEducation: Degree or certification in software developmentCommunication: Fluent writing and speaking in EnglishGreat cross-functional communication skillsAbility to function at a high-level within a highly productive delivery environmentGood organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

Technical Skills

Excellent knowledge of TypeScript/Node JS.Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented ProgrammingExcellent understanding of API (Rest, GraphQL).Good understanding of Shopify PlusGood understanding of Public and Custom Shopify AppsGood understanding of SQL DB.Good understanding of GIT.Good Understanding of the backend server.Good documentation skills.Bonus to have a strong background in web-based eCommerce applications.Bonus on having experience in other programming languages, such as Python/Ruby/PHP.
