Web Developer (Sitefinity) Overview On behalf of our client, Altis Technology is looking for a Web Developer specializing in Sitefinity, a versatile Web Content Management System (Web CMS) used for crafting and administering responsive, mobile-friendly websites. Whether you prefer working onsite or remotely, this part-time position offers flexibility within Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours. Position Details: Hours:20-30 hours per week (Part-Time) Location: Fully Remote Work Schedule: Pacific Standard Time (PST) Duration: 12 Months Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the communication department to update and maintain the Website using Sitefinity. - Develop and implement new website features, enhancements, and functionality. - Ensure websites are optimized for responsiveness and mobile-friendliness. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website performance and functionality. - Integrate third-party tools, plugins, and APIs as needed. - Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in web development and Sitefinity. Required Skills and Qualifications:- Proficiency in HTML5. - Extensive experience with Sitefinity 14.4 or later versions. - Strong command of at least one major web development language (e.g., JavaScript, PHP, Python, Ruby, etc.). - Solid understanding of JavaScript for front-end development. - Intermediate-level experience, ranging from 2 to 5 years, in web development roles. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap). - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices. - Effective communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into layman's terms.
