Job Description

Accrete Macro Solutions LLC is a prime vendor for the State of Iowa. We are seeking a Senior Groovy Developer to join our agile scrum team, collaborating with the Client throughout development and providing ongoing support and enhancements to the system.

Responsibilities

Design and code software on an agile development team Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications Utilize Groovy, SpEL, and PostgreSQL Test and deploy programs and systems Integrate software components and third-party programs Gather and evaluate user feedback for improvements Create technical documentation for reference and reporting Attend meetings (20%) and focus on development and documentation (80%)

Required Skills

7+ years of experience in Groovy, SpEL, and PostgreSQL 3+ years of experience in agile frameworks, Jira, GitHub, and CI/CD Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Experience producing clean, efficient code based on specifications Familiarity with Jasper reports (highly desired) Experience with testing, deploying, and integrating programs Ability to gather and evaluate user feedback Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Resourcefulness and troubleshooting skills Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping
