iOS Engineer

Location: 100% remote in the United States | Central or Eastern Time ZonesEmployees: 250 | Team Size: 10Industry: B2B SaaS, Transportation, Aviation, RailFinancial Information: Owned by a private equity firm, established organization, not a startup!Reports To: Mobile Engineering ManagerTravel: Quarterly company events, potential for travel to the United Kingdom occasionally

Responsibilities:• Hands-on iOS development from concept through to deployment• Supporting and maintaining deployed iOS applications• Communicating the status of projects and issues with project managers• Leading the design, development, and implementation of iOS applications, using best practices• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers/owners, designers, and backend engineers, to deliver high-quality features and enhancements• Implementing and maintaining automated testing frameworks • Optimizing application performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to enhance user experiences

Requirements:• 3+ years of professional experience in iOS mobile application development• Experience with Swift and Xcode or Objective-C• Experience with the iOS SDK• Experience with UIKit and SwiftUI• SQL skills and experience with SQLite• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as XCTest, XCTestUI, or something similar
