.NET Developer with Healthcare, Azure, API

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with expertise in healthcare systems, Azure cloud services, and API integration to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable, secure, and efficient applications within the healthcare domain, leveraging Azure services for deployment and management. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining critical software solutions that streamline healthcare processes and improve patient outcomes.Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for healthcare software solutions.Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure .NET applications tailored to the healthcare industry's needs.Implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with internal systems, third-party services, and external partners.Utilize Azure cloud services for application deployment, hosting, and management, ensuring high availability and scalability.Integrate with electronic health record (EHR) systems, health information exchanges (HIEs), and other healthcare platforms using industry-standard protocols.Implement data encryption, access controls, and other security measures to safeguard sensitive healthcare information.Optimize application performance and reliability through code refactoring, performance tuning, and proactive monitoring.Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of developed software through comprehensive testing.Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in healthcare IT, Azure development, and API integration.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Proven experience (X years) developing .NET applications within the healthcare industry.Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and related .NET technologies.Experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure API Management, etc.Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience with API development using frameworks such as ASP.NET Web API.Familiarity with healthcare data standards and protocols (HL7, FHIR, DICOM, etc.).Experience with healthcare interoperability standards and technologies, such as CCD, CDA, Direct Messaging, etc.Solid understanding of software security best practices and experience implementing security measures in healthcare applications.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) a plus.
