Senior Mobile Developer (React Native)

Gorilla Logic is looking for a senior mobile developer (React Native), who will work with a team of engineers developing our client’s system. This is a unique and highly technical role, requiring strong development experience in delivering leading-edge solutions. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.

Responsibilities

Design and build mobile apps for the iOS & Android platformsProvide architectural leadership to the team and our clientWork with an agile team to build, maintain and optimize our client’s applicationsMentor fellow developersWork closely with UI/UX design, product ownership, backend, and other teamsProficient English and communications skills requiredGood analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Technical Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience5+ years of mobile application development experience3+ years of React Native app developmentExperience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning requiredExperience working with remote data via REST and JSONExperience publishing multiple iOS and/or Android apps and beta distribution using TestFlight, Firebase and/or AppCenter

Bonus Skills

Native experience with iOS/Swift/Objective-C and/or Android/Kotlin/JavaExperience using Fastlane to automate beta/prod release processBackend development experience with .Net/C#, Java/Spring and/or Node.jsExperience with other hybrid mobile technologies like Flutter and Xamarin
