Groovy Developer

Position: Sr. Software Developer (Groovy)Location: Des Moines, IA 50309Duration: 11 MonthsEither Web Cam or In-Person InterviewWork Arrangement: Remote We are looking for a self-starter who is charged with designing and coding software on an agile development team. A good candidate will have a positive attitude and strong communication skills to work closely with clients to determine what they need, then use programming languages to create programs.

The technology responsibilities of this position are as follows:

Must have critical thinking skills, as well as strong problem-solving abilitiesProducing clean, efficient code based on specificationsFamiliar with Groovy, SpEL & PostgreSQLExperience with Jasper reports would be a plusTesting and deploying programs and systemsExperience in agile frameworks and popular coding languages such as, Jira, GITHUB and CI/CDIntegrate software components and third-party programsGather and evaluate user feedback to recommend and execute improvementsCreate technical documentation for reference and reportingExcellent communication skills and attention to detailResourcefulness and troubleshooting skillsExperience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping
