Role: Senior Developer / Architect (Migrating HashiCorp vault from OpenSource)

Duration: 6+ Months

Position summary:

The person in this role would be responsible for migrating HashiCorp vault from its OpenSource version to the Enterprise version. This would require a solid understanding of both versions, the differences between them, and the migration process. More specifically it would be a Senior Developer / Architect role for HashiCorp vault solution.

Job responsibilities:

Thoroughly reviewing the current HashiCorp vault setup and planning the migration process. This would involve understanding the system's architecture, identifying any potential challenges in the migration, and setting up a migration timeline.

Pre-migration Preparations: Work on pre-migration tasks such as setting up the enterprise environment, taking backups of the current data, and preparing the system for migration.

Migration Execution: Begin the actual process of migration. This could involve moving data, changing configurations, and monitoring the system to ensure everything is working as expected.

Troubleshooting & Optimization: Post-migration, focus on troubleshooting any issues that arose during the migration. Also, work on optimizing the new setup for better performance and security.

Validation & Documentation: Validate the new setup to ensure all data has been migrated correctly and the system is functioning as expected. Document the entire migration process, any challenges faced, and how they were overcome.

Must have qualifications:

HashiCorp Vault experience with OpenSource and Enterprise version

Strong skills migration activities
