This is an exciting opportunity to be a founding member of a new team focused on building a foundational set of core Generative AI services designed to enable teams to solve demanding business problems at scale for WWT (World Wide Technology).

What will you be doing? As a Full Stack Developer on the team, you will be responsible for building software in an agile environment using various programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Here are some things the team will be working on this year: Exposing custom-built WWT GPT system to customers via wwt.com. Expanding custom document summarization & generation of RFP (Request for Proposal) tool to other business use cases. Support product delivery teams with the buildout of additional Generative AI Projects. Delivering an agent-based AI solution.

Responsibilities:Build working software and deliver technical solutions that consistently exceed stakeholder expectations using web and AI technologies.Ensure software and solutions scale well, are cost-effective, and adhere to software development best practices. Stay current on emerging technologies, techniques, and patterns in the web and AI space. Make process and technology recommendations and assist with adoption. Provide technical and professional mentoring for team members. Lead projects and complex assignments with broad and ambiguous scope. Interact directly with stakeholders to understand functional requirements and needs. Demo solutions and communicate status to stakeholders at all levels. Participate in ideation sessions and strategic planning. Help foster a team-first environment grounded on an understanding of and a commitment to the WWT Core Values

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, MIS, a technical-related field, or equivalent experience. 8+ years’ experience developing distributed/scalable systems. Demonstrated proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C++. Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Proficiency in developing and consuming APIs. Thorough understanding of what it takes to deliver an application from inception to production. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Opinionated but you appreciate an environment where feedback is freely given, and your ideas are challenged. Comfortable mentoring other developers. Experience working with the OpenAI SDK and AI Frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen) is strongly preferred. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI services is a strong plus.
