Senior Java Developer - Medicaid

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join our team in enhancing and maintaining critical applications in the Medicaid domain. As part of our collaborative environment, you will work closely with application development staff to ensure the efficiency, accessibility, and user experience of our applications while resolving identified issues and recommending changes as per business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with application development staff to enhance application maintainability, efficiency, and user experience.Develop and run test scripts to ensure rules are working as required.Identify code changes and additions in collaboration with testers, subject matter experts, and Technical Architects.Perform software development maintenance (bug fixes) and recommend specific code changes.Maintain Object-Oriented programming best practices and follow UI Standards.Conduct comprehensive system and application code testing to ensure error-free deployments.Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and support to the team.Complete relevant training and pass a criminal background check.

Minimum Qualifications:7 years of experience with Java development.5 years of combined Java-based User Interface experience in web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and JQuery.4 years of experience with automated testing and Spring MVC.4 years of Drools experience, specifically with Decision tables.4 years of experience developing applications in the Medicaid field.

Desired Skills:2 years of experience in designing and architecting applications.Experience with web services, application servers, JPA/Hibernate, and Oracle Database.Familiarity with web application testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium/WebDriver), JavaScript testing frameworks, Maven, and Eclipse.
