Job Overview

We are currently in search of a talented and proactive Application Development Engineer (Full Stack) to become a valued member of our Research & Development team. This position demands a creative individual capable of constructing and managing demonstration applications across various platforms (Web, Android, and iOS). Collaboration with the R&D team and direct involvement with the Agora India business & solutions team are integral aspects of this role. Additionally, the Application Developer will directly interact with clients to gather requirements, participate in code reviews, and support research and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Demo Development: Design, develop, and maintain documentation for demos across Web, Android, and iOS platforms using our Real-Time Engagement (RTE) products, including RTC SDK, Signaling SDK, Chat SDK, Whiteboard, RTT, Recording, Analytics, and other plugins & extensions.R&D: Act as a research and development resource, exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance our product offerings and demo capabilities.Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to gather feedback and requirements, ensuring our demos effectively showcase the capabilities of our RTE platform to help customers better monetize their applications.Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews, ensuring high standards of code quality and consistency across all projects.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including product management, technical support, and sales, to align demo features with customer needs and market trends.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in application development across multiple platforms (Web, Android, iOS).Strong proficiency across front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries.Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js).Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design.Familiarity with Real-Time Communication (RTC) technologies and SDK integration.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a team environment.Experience with direct customer interactions and an understanding of user experience design.

Preferred Skills

Prior experience in building demos or prototypes.Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks is a plus.Working experience in the range of 3-6 years.
