Sparkhound is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Web & Mobile Development team to work with our clients in developing a variety of business solutions. This position primarily focuses on leading the support team and resolving production bugs efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, leadership qualities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
What you will do:Lead and mentor a team of support engineers to provide timely and effective resolution to customer-reported issues.Prioritize and manage the resolution of production bugs, ensuring minimal impact on users and systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, and Product Management to understand root causes of issues and implement permanent fixes.Develop and maintain tools, scripts, and processes to streamline bug detection, diagnosis, and resolution.Participate in the design and implementation of improvements to the software architecture to prevent future issues.Act as a technical escalation point for complex support issues, providing guidance and assistance to team members.Continuously monitor and analyze support metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction.Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends related to support and bug resolution.
