Position Description

Bridgenext is seeking a Senior Full stack Developer and Onshore Lead. From a techncial perspective, you will be focused on the MERN stack, and will work side-by-side with our customer to collaborate, build and enhance a NodeJS-React application built on the Azure platform. You will also work on integrations with other source systems and third-party mapping eco systems. Core tech stack would include ReactJS, MongoDB, SQL, Node, Mapbox , Azure Maps, and TypeScript.

As an Onshore Lead you will be collaborating and working with engineering teams across a portfolio in the commercial real estate domain. In addition to hands on coding tasks, y ou will be leading a remote offshore pod consisting of 2 software developers, 1 QA, and a SCRUM Master.

In this role you can expect about 50% of your time focused on hands on coding & development, and 50% of your time focused on leading and coordinating with the offshore team & delivery tasks.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

Building backend services with Node.JS Front End Development using React framework Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code Engaging in the full development life cycle including architectural design and testing Staying current on software engineering trends & tools, and be practical but open-minded in applying them Maintaining a high bar for quality and performance of your product with vigorous attention to detail and unit testing Continuously improving how we design, build, and ship software as a highly functional team Perform code reviews, testing , and deployment using best practices and tools Provide technical mentorship and coaching to junior engineers Us e Agile software development approaches, such as Scrum , and keep the team on track for success

Must Have Skills

5-10 years of experience developing Node.JS and ReactJS applications Experience developing Web APIs using NodeJS, and experience with RESTful APIs Experience with Express or Nest Frameworks Strong proficiency in TypeScript Familiarity with Microservices Architecture Experience performing Node Unit Testing Experience with React Framework Ability to link business processes with product/technical solutions. Experience working within an Agile environment and acting as a mentor for junior team members.
