Overview:Hire AI is looking for a talented and experienced NLP Engineer to join our innovative team on a full-time basis. This role is perfect for someone passionate about AI and machine learning, especially in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP). As an NLP Engineer at Hire AI, you will be responsible for developing algorithms that improve the interaction between computers and humans using natural language data. This remote position allows for a flexible work environment from anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities:Design and implement NLP systems that integrate with Hire AI’s product offerings.Develop robust machine learning models that process natural language data and contribute to the core product features including parsing, text classification, sentiment analysis, and semantic understanding.Evaluate and refine models based on performance data collected in production environments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and adapt features that improve our NLP capabilities.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Requirements:Strong background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on artificial intelligence.Proven experience as an NLP Engineer or in a similar role.Proficiency with NLP tools and libraries (e.g., NLTK, SpaCy, BERT, Transformers).Expertise in machine learning frameworks (like TensorFlow or PyTorch) and familiarity with linguistic structures.Experience with Python and common data science toolkits.Strong analytical skills and ability to produce well-designed software.

Technical Skills:In-depth knowledge of NLP techniques for Named Entity Recognition, Tokenization, Dependency Parsing, Sentiment Analysis, etc.Proficiency in programming in Python or other relevant data-centric languages.Experience with implementing RESTful APIs.Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

Experience:Minimum 3 years of industry experience in NLP, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.

Knowledge:Excellent understanding of text representation techniques (such as n-grams, bag of words, sentiment analysis etc.), statistics and classification algorithms.Ability to effectively design software architecture and troubleshoot complex issues.Capable of independently managing project goals and collaborating effectively with a remote team.
