Position: Guidewire PolicyCenter DeveloperLocation: Fully Remote Contract: 12 months (Contract to Hire) Responsibilities:Bachelor’s degree in computer/information science or information systems management or equivalentMinimum 8-10 years of IT hands-on application development experienceMinimum 4 years of IT hands-on development experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter 8.0 or higherProven experience with Configuration and Integration experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter 8.0 or higherMinimum 4 years of hand on experience with SQL (SQL server/Oracle/DB2)/No SQL related technologiesMinimum 2 years of experience integrating with RESTful /SOAP Web servicesKnowledge of working with UI Frameworks (like Angular) is a plusKnowledge of working with monitoring tools like AppDynamicsStrong understanding of object-oriented design best practicesKnowledge of researching and preparing detailed functional specificationsGood knowledge of estimating, planning and tracking development tasksExperience with debugging production issues and resolving themExperience with identifying application performance bottlenecks and resolving themIn depth hands-on experience with continuous integration practices, processes and tools (Jenkins, JUNIT, GitLab)Proficient in writing configurable, maintainable and testable code in a highly collaborative environmentProperty & Casualty domain knowledge is a plus
