Power Platform Developer

Overview: DS Federal., is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Power Platform Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support in the development, delivery, and maintenance of solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform (including Power BI and Power Automate), Microsoft 365, and SharePoint Online. This role requires a deep understanding of software development and data management principles within a secure and agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, deliver, and support solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint Online.Develop and manage data models for Power BI to support the creation of reports and visualizations, documenting data collections and relationships to meet data management requirements.Design and maintain SharePoint Online sites in accordance with OALM standard procedures and best practices, including data migration, data integrity, and permission management at various levels.Support the development of M365 Apps and Services solutions, adapting to new services as they become available.Implement solutions across multiple Microsoft Power Platform tools, adhering to OALM ITPB guidance and standards, and assist in managing the applications inventory.Create and maintain technical documentation as required by OALM ITPB.Collaborate with team members to integrate additional Power Platform tools and Azure DevOps into solution offerings.Apply best practices in application software design, leveraging agile methodologies to ensure effective project delivery and support.Manage and architect data solutions, including data modeling, data architecture, and database management, utilizing SQL and other query languages.Ensure all solutions comply with federal information systems privacy and security controls, incorporating software security design principles.

Qualifications:Proven expertise in SharePoint Online and Power BI.Familiarity with additional tools within the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure DevOps.Strong understanding of application software design principles and agile methodologies.Knowledge of data management, modeling, and architecture, including proficiency in SQL and other query languages.Experience with software security design principles and familiarity with federal information systems security protocols.

Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a federal or highly regulated environment.
