Job Summary – Application Developer:This position provides application development and support to our utility company client. This is a technical position responsible for implementation and support of IVR and other call center technology applications.

Job Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include development and ongoing support of the IVR applications.Responsibilities also include assisting team members and vendors with analysis, documentation, and testing of changes to the IVR application environment.The successful candidate will work in a team environment that includes IT team members, management, and business customers to identify and develop effective IVR solutions to meet business requirements.

Required/Preferred Skills:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Engineering required.3 to 10 years’ agile/scrum experience in application development using Java development, including REST & SOAP web services and secured communications or other object-oriented programming language is required.Proven experience with development environments, frameworks, and APIs (tomcat, json, Avaya, security SSL/TLS 1.2 certificates import/export and etc.) is required.Experience with SQL, PL/SQL – intermediate to advanced queries is required.Experience with Oracle is required.5-10 years’ experience with IVR application development, or support is preferred.Experience in systems management of Linux; scripting, log management, software distribution (packaging) is preferred.Knowledge of Avaya OD development is preferred.Knowledge of Avaya Full-Stack environment is preferred.Knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server is preferred.Experience in the Call Center technologies is preferred.

Required Duties:Candidate must be able to build and effectively manage personal relationships within a large IT organization and with multiple vendors.Candidate must be able to manage production support and project related activities simultaneously.Candidate must participate in after-hours on-call support rotation.Candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with a team.Candidate must be able to work in a professional environment with limited direct supervision.Candidate must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Must have a methodical approach to solving problems.Must be willing to learn new skills across rapidly changing solutions.Must be able to document user requirements and develop solutions to meet their business objectives.Must value trust, superior performance, and commitment to success.
