Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team at MetroMoove. As a key member of our tech department, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our mobile applications, admin portal, and website using React Native, React, and Redux. Your expertise in Firebase Realtime Database and Cloud Functions will be instrumental in creating scalable and responsive backend solutions. Additionally, your proficiency in integrating Maps & Location APIs and Push Notifications will contribute to enhancing user experiences and optimizing delivery operations.

Responsibilities:Develop and maintain MetroMoove's mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms using React Native and Expo.Design and implement intuitive user interfaces for the admin portal and website using React and Redux.Utilize Firebase Realtime Database to manage and store data efficiently, ensuring data integrity and security.Implement server-side APIs and business logic using Firebase Cloud Functions to support frontend functionalities.Integrate Google Maps & Location APIs to provide accurate geolocation services for tracking deliveries and optimizing routes.Implement push notifications using Expo to keep users updated on order statuses and important announcements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve MetroMoove's technical infrastructure.

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).Proven experience developing mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms using React Native and Expo.Strong proficiency in React and Redux for building responsive admin portals and websites.Experience working with Firebase Realtime Database and Cloud Functions for backend development.Familiarity with integrating Maps & Location APIs (e.g., Google Maps) for geolocation services.Knowledge of implementing push notifications using Expo or similar frameworks.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills with a passion for working in a fast-paced startup environment.Prior experience in the logistics or delivery industry is a plus.

Location:This is a remote position with the flexibility to work from anywhere. However, candidates based in Nigeria are preferred to align with our target market.
