The Android Developer will join the Global Expansion Tribe, a dynamic cross-functional team dedicated to entering new markets and adapting our client's products for optimal localization. This role is critical to the Expansion Platform & Experiences (EP&E) team, whose mission is to reduce time to market and tailor the mobile user experience to meet local requirements and regulatory standards.

As a mobile engineer focusing mainly on the Android platform, your primary responsibilities will include enhancing our client’s application with new features and optimizing performance across various Android devices, including those with custom builds. Additionally, you will receive support in the development of your iOS capabilities, engaging you in collaborative activities such as code reviews, architectural discussions, and the integration of minor features with other teams. Within the company’s Mobile Chapter, you’ll have the chance to acquire knowledge from seasoned professionals and contribute your own insights, fostering a rich learning environment. environment.

Job Requirements

Strong proficiency in Kotlin and proven experience in Android application development;Familiarity with or willingness to learn iOS development to support cross-platform initiatives;Expertise in building modularized architectures for easy adaptation and scalability;Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and drive projects with a high degree of independence;Passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge within the tech community.Excellent communication and English skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and adapt features for the Android platform to facilitate global market expansion;Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet regional regulatory and user experience requirements;Maintain and enhance the app's performance on third-party Android devices;Help with the automated localization for both mobile Apps, including adapting the UI to support other languages (right-to-left etc.);Engage in code reviews, architectural discussions, and feature implementation.
