Sr. AEM Developer

We are looking for a Sr. AEM Developer for a 1 year contract to support our client's loyalty program.

Performance ExpectationsProvide technical leadership on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Web Content Management Systems (WCMS) solutions, instilling clients with technical confidenceWork with enterprise software developers and architects on programming languages and/or COTS products or platformsUse your extensive product knowledge to define and present effective Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutionsCollaborate with clients and project team to identify client needs through interviews, workshops and requirements analysis, define a solution to meet those needs and implement a working, timely solutionUnderstand, diagnose and recommend solutions for specific functional and technical challengesDevelop websites, applications, and integrations on the Adobe AEM platform and Apache Sling framework using appropriate programming languages including, but not limited to, Java, HTML, JavaScript, JSP, Servlets, JQuery, CSS, Sightly/HTLDevelop and document reusable, globalized code and libraries for AEM SolutionsHave knowledge and experience with automating builds using Maven, unit testing with JUnit, and continuous integration (CI)Ensure the technical feasibility and consider target audience objectives and business objectives when developing or modifying UI/UX designs, features, applications, and digital content management system authoring & platform componentsManage CMS platform issues with support teams and stakeholdersCollaborate with firm leaders and other team members to perform peer review and share knowledgeUnderstand, evolve and augment team best practices

Credentials5+ years of relevant experience requiredAn understanding of latest accessibility, design, site performance, mobile interface development, and digital development trendsExcellent problem solving abilitiesOutstanding communication skills – technical and non-technical; internal and external with stakeholders, partners, and agenciesKnowledge of frameworks such as Backbone; Angular 2.0; React; and/or Ember is preferredKnowledge of CSS pre-processing platforms such as LESS and SASS is preferredProficiency in Java, JSP, Servlets, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, and JSONProficiency in working with code versioning tools such as Git/Mercurial/SVNExperience building responsive websites using CSS frameworks such as Foundation and Bootstrap is preferredA good understanding of RESTful architectureKnowledge of Maven automated builds, unit testing, and continuous integrationExperience working with both Linux and Windows-based servers
