Back End Developer

Arkra is looking for a Backend Engineer to join our early founding team.

Initially, the role will be equity-based, with a competitive salary to follow once we have successfully raised our seed round. ResponsibilitiesAs a Backend Engineer at Arkra, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the Backend of the platform. Your primary duties will include:Leveraging ASP.NET Core and C#, you'll design and implement robust server-side logic, APIs, and database interactions using MS SQL Server. Your responsibilities include architecting scalable and secure services, handling data processing, and implementing business logic.You'll be involved in database design, optimization, and maintenance tasks using MS SQL Server. This includes writing efficient SQL queries, ensuring data integrity, and implementing database migrations and schema changes.You'll conduct thorough testing of Backend components, identifying and resolving any bugs or issues promptly. Your role also involves writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver high-quality solutions. Effective communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Overall, as a Backend Engineer at Arkra, you'll play a crucial role in driving innovation, delivering exceptional user experiences, and contributing to the success of our platform through your expertise in a diverse range of technologies.

Experience:The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of experience, but if you have less than that, check all our boxes, and think you'd be a good fit, apply or reach out.Professional experience building modern, well-architected APIs.Knowledge of the MS SQL Server or a similar SQL database.Familiarity with ORMs, migrations and writing freeform queries is a must-have.Experience with best practices, methodologies for building clean, scalable, modern applications, including source control, testing, code-reviews, and CI/CD.

We are looking for an intermediate-level Backend Engineer who can hit the ground running and contribute to the project's successful completion.
