Responsibilities of a Lead Full Stack EngineerAs a full-stack engineer, one will contribute to building new features and modules, shaping the underlying product frameworks, and influencing internal processes like code reviews and deployment. Involvement in feature planning will allow for a tangible impact on the product and the company's overall direction. Joining a compact team, specific experience will be pivotal, offering autonomy over projects and an opportunity to lead by example.Given the companies size, individuals may be required to take on various roles as needed, providing a dynamic learning environment and the satisfaction of shipping software used by thousands.

Technology Stack and DirectionThe backend primarily utilises PHP (Symfony, Laravel) with MySQL as the primary data store. The frontend is built with Typescript/React, and GraphQL serves as the primary API. Various technologies are leveraged, including Typescript/Node for cloud services on AWS, alongside Elastic, Redis, and other tools like Kotlin and Go.

Recent Projects• Voice: Browser-based incoming and outgoing calls with features like automated call routing and simple IVRs.• AWS: Infrastructure migration to AWS, including ambitious projects like rewriting the email parser.• Reports: Implementation of a new reporting system with dashboards, scheduled reports, and sharing.• Apps Platform: Development of a platform for third-party apps.• Filtering and Search: Overhaul of the filtering and search system for improved efficiency, accuracy, and UX.• Social/Multi-channel Messaging: Integration of generic data structures for connecting InnovateTech to various messaging channels.Upcoming Projects• Social integrations (Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc), asset tracking, approvals, and more.

Requirements• Strong experience with PHP and Symfony/Laravel.• Experience building SPAs with React, with Typescript as a bonus.• Knowledge of server-side Javascript/NodeJS is advantageous.• Proficient in MySQL, with AWS experience as a bonus.• Fast learner with a passion for exploring new technologies.• Strong understanding of software architecture.• Proactive and collaborative work style, with a knack for leadership and knowledge-sharing.
