Drupal Web Developer

Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for a Drupal Web Developer. This resource will be working Remotely.

Job Description:

The position is home-based, and candidates should ideally be located in a time zone close to or similar to Kosovo-Pristina (alternative time zones may be considered) to ensure close and continuous collaboration with the team in Kosovo-Pristina.Within delegated authority, the Drupal Web Developer will be responsible for the following duties:• Design, develop, and publish Drupal websites.• Install, customize, and configure Drupal modules.• Prepare comprehensive documentation and provide guidance for the support and maintenance of Drupal-based websites.• Configure web servers and ensure the secure publication of web content.• Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of Drupal websites.• Perform other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Education: Completion of secondary/high school education with a confirmed diploma.

Required Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in web design, development, and deployment of content management systems, including but not limited to:

1. UI Design and Drupal Development:• Proficiency in PHP programming, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.• Proficiency in developing and customizing Drupal Themes within Drupal (versions 9/10) environments.• Experience with the Linux environment and a strong understanding of the LAMP stack.

2. Technical Skills:• Experience in working with tools such as Composer, Drush, and Git for CI/CD pipelines.• Experience in deploying Drupal website in an AWS cloud environment.

3. Database Experience:• A minimum of two (2) years working with SQL-based open-source databases (e.g. MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL).• Proficiency in T-SQL for complex query development and database management.

4. Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC):• Good understanding of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

5. Integration and Security:• Proficiency in integrating Drupal websites with third-party APIs and services.• Familiarity with secure coding practices and adherence to OWASP guidelines for robust and secure web application development.

Desirable Experience:• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and API-based front-end development.• Experience in data migration strategies and implementation, including data transformation and loading techniques.• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across teams.• Experience working with international or multinational organizations.

LANGUAGES: English and French are the working languages. Fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of another language is an advantage.
